Ada Lovelace Day 2010

Just a few lines to write about a woman who taught me a lot: Elisabetta Di Nitto, my mentor at Politecnico di Milano. I've been working with her for a few months, but I really enjoyed it, and I really appreciate the enthusiasm with which she goes on with her researched in the Software Engineering field.

A week ago I've been to the GGD in Milan (Girl Geek Dinners Milano). I've found many experienced, smart and passionate women, sharing a strong love for technology. This kind of events offers wonderful chances for networking.

In this case the sponsor was Microsoft, which presented his products through demonstrations and through the explanations of women working for the company.

The mood of the event was informal and friendly, and I was very happy to be there!

My latest work

And here it is, the product of an hour of work, a couple of nights ago. Simple, slick, but enough as a provisional web page whose aim was to gather the main information about Claudio.
The concept comes from the idea of cloud, and Claudio's love for simple black and essential web sites.
The need: create a single point of access to the multiplicity of information spread through the web.
A good alternative to a placeholder!

I think I've just beaten a new record: a new,  single page web site, from the concept to the alpha version, in one night!

Augmented Reality and Deseoweb

I'm very proud to announce the re-newed web site of Deseoweb.

In the "Augmented Reality" section you can find a simple demo of an AR application. To see it you can print the marker, or (if you have one) place the business card you got from me or one of my colleagues in front of your webcam.
